California Anti-Malware Law

Additionally, regarding the California law I mentioned before, it also goes after malware in general (apologies if I am an idiot this morning and those are two different laws and my morning fogged brain has fused them).

My favorite part of the article is this lovely little bit here:

The law, signed Tuesday by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, bans software that transmits computer viruses or cause a machine to be used as part of a denial of service attack.

I love it because if this is being discussed over at Slashdot, I think we can rest assured that someone would point out that sentence as proof that California has just banned Microsoft Windows.
