In an interview with Gates, it looks like he mentioned that Microsoft will be putting out an anti-spyware tool.
No word on if they will charge for it, but I guess it does please me that since they are the reason Windows systems are exposed to those things, at least they are doing something about blocking the problems that come up from that.
Although by that argument, then they would also do anti-virus as well.
In the interview, it even notes that Gates has never gotten a virus, but has gotten adware/malware (and it looks as if he refers to it as "crap").
Perhaps that goes to show that it is an OS flaw, whereas viruses are more likely to be user error/flaws, hence this requires intervention on Microsoft's part?
