XP SP2 may slow down your laptop

We have talked about it over and over, XP SP2 is the service pack which will supposedly make your XP system better and not full of holes. But there have been issues with it.

Well, there are now more issues with it - if you have a laptop, it may slow down with SP2 (I have also read that some chipsets are massively slowed down by it).

So do you install it to avoid the spyware? Or did you give it a miss so that you can actually use your hardware?
