eWeek has an article up discussing first opinions on XP SP2 - the service pack to Windows XP that supposedly helps block all of the issues that make spyware and viruses so easy to get.
The general tone of the article seems to be skepticism and it largely just points to discussion boards that have users talking about their experiences.
Here in the office, I am going to hold off on installing it for as long as possible since I do not trust that it won't break some of our applications - most notably we always have issues with WinFax 10.x, so I am guessing that it will be the first one we see issues with.
Once it has been out longer and more software has been patched to take it into account, then I will push it out en mass to our users.
