Microsoft, still classy as ever

Remember how we were saying that Microsoft released XP SP2 and that it fixed tons of problems in XP that led to you getting more viruses, spam, and spyware than any human should ever have to reasonably endure?

Yeah, or course you do.

And remember how their servers were crushed by the demand for it, and since it is a 75MB file they essentially said that they couldn't handle the load and essentially had the attitude of "hey man, you waited this long for this crap, might as well keep on waiting while we only give it out to those that have a lot of our products in house."

Oh yeah.

And then how an upstart band of hipsters decided to make use of BitTorrent technology to encourage fast and easy distribution of this huge file so that good deeds could spread throughout the public.

Well, true to their sue-happy-douchebags form, Microsoft has stepped it up and threatened those upstart hipsters to cease and desist or they are going to get MSFT lawyers up their asses.

Nothing lets everyone know that you no longer "get it" even if you ever did than suing those that try to help you out.

Way to go Redmond! Here's to me continuing not to use your products if I ever have the choice - cheers!
