New MyDoom variant puts the big hurt on search engines

Google took a beating for a bit today with the new MyDoom variant out (see previous post).

Slashdot has a post up that explains how/why this was - although the main point being that the virus looks in your address book and then for each domain that it sees, it searches against Google and the like for more e-mail addresses that also have that domain.
It then proceeds to spam on to those addresses, and those in your address book.

I am curious if this virus also tries to hit Exchange web access sites since ours took a beating over the night and croaked this morning. Perhaps just a coincidence.
