New Virus

Today was low on posts here at Spamblogging partially due to the fact that after some time, all spam news is essentially going to look the same.
But more importantly I had a really unpleasant work sort of day.

Along those lines, there is a new virus/worm/evil spawn that is going around.

Bruce Sterling says essentially what I would about it - except that one of my users showed it to me (thankfully she didn't actually open the attachment - hard to say if the rest of my users held off).

The e-mail comes from your own domain and warns you that your account has been spamming. They suggest that you have a virus and should view the attached document to see what to do.
This of course gives you a virus and spreads to new people, telling them that they too have been sending spam, etc.
