Germany (technically other countries as well) was recently hit by racist spam.
The "racist" term was used by a German newspaper's website to describe the e-mails, but then in Wired the way they describe it sounds more political and xenophobic.
It is spam in that it is not wanted and was spread through zombied Windows boxes running malware - but it isn't the traditional kind where it tries to sell you something.
Instead it is full of hate and pseudo political rhetoric.
I don't particularly want any type of spam, so this new development in the evolution of spam, while interesting, still sucks.
