Recently Microsoft released Exchange Intelligent Message Filter. Having not used it yet myself, I can't say how "intelligent" it actually is, but I will be looking into it next week at work.
This page has a brief description of a three part solution to stop spam for the author. He uses the new Microsoft filter and mentions that it doesn't let you view what it is doing all that closely.
But he lists this tool as the solution to that.
Like I said, I can't speak to how good the tools work - this new filter appears to be based on Microsoft's "Smart Screen" which at a quick glance sounds an awful lot like SpamAssassin's method (maybe that means it works well - conversely, I wonder if that means they will be getting sued soon by Network Associates).
As I learn more about it, and/or actually use it on our servers and test it out, I can speak with more authority on how good/bad it is.
