As if spam, spim, etc weren't enough - there is now "snam" which is the terms for spam via your social networking tools (Orkut, Friendster, etc).

On these networks you can message/contact your friends and then your friend-of-a-friend network. These can grow quite large, quite quickly - so these are now growing areas for mass contact of messages that aren't necessarily desired.
