Stock scams rising in spam

The BBC reports that stock scams are on the rise in spam. It would seem that this would have been better served during the tech boom when people were flocking to online trading accounts instead of now while the economy is in such flux (or rather the market is).

But perhaps it works exactly because of that - people are all the more desperate for what looks like a quick buck.

Regardless, they do note that "level of share-related spam e-mails was well below the torrent of unsolicited offers for sexual aids and pornography.
" - so thankfully we can still not miss out on any of our porn spam which we all have come to love.
