Slashdot reports that the newest release of DSPAM is out (v2.10).
This release is the first stable one, and contains Bayesian filtering and neural networks. It has been shown in the past to be 10x that of even human sorting.
I have long been using SpamAssassin and have been pleased with it. I am going to give DSPAM a shot to see how well it works and then will write on here about it in comparison to SpamAssassin.
UPDATE: As much as I would like to test out this system, after reviewing the README I have to say that I'm going to have to try that out at another time. DSPAM requires more work than I am able/willing to put into getting a solution up and going on my server. I hope to come back to this and address the issue at a later date.
