SpamAssassin also works in blogs.

There is a slightly older (late Dec 2003) post here at Reflective Reality which notes a way to use SpamAssassin to block spam in blog comments.

SpamAssassin is well known for blocking e-mail, but this looks like a creative way to apply the same concepts to blog spam as well.
